Hydraulic pumps act as power suppliers in heavy-duty industries. They enable creating a partial vacuum facilitating fluids to move into the hydraulic system. Based on the utility and requirement, they are divided into 3 broad types

1.Gear pumps- These have fewer moving parts and are usually used in open-centred hydraulic systems. They have a fixed displacement and are comparatively less expensive. They transport the oil around the circumference of the gear cavity and force it through the outlet port. They are also called positive displacement pumps.

 

2.Vane pumps- Vane pumps have slowly been replaced by gear pumps in utility vehicles. The mechanism is similar to that of a gear pump, except that it has one set of gears on a rotating cartridge.

 

3. Piston pumps– The pumps are used at high operating pressures. They have a higher initial cost and a complex mechanism. It encompasses a cylinder block containing pistons that move in and out. This movement draws oil from the supply port and forces it through the outlet.

These pumps are newly introduced, with an Indian made Denison design. They can take a maximum of 240 BAR Pressure. These pumps are offered in single vane, double vane, and triple vane. They are replacements for the current VELJAN Denison T6 Series or PARKER Denison pump T6 SERIES, YUKEN’S HPV, and KOOJAN’S KT6. Their utility is in the plastic, automobile, plywood, and engineering industries and are available as mobile and industrial series pumps.

Our Hydrank brand offers a replacement for the Tokimec vane pumps. They have very low operational noise levels and a maximum pressure of 175 bar. As per TOKIMEC’s cut design, a single vane pump, a double vane pump, and a triple vane pump. These pumps are used in various industries like aluminium die casting, plastic moulding, pressure die casting, and hydraulic press.
